Rolling Buddy E-Commerce Website Project
Rolling Buddy is an established ecommerce head shop, vape shop and CBD products in Malta. The client wanted to improve the sales by revamping the eCommerce website. The ultimate goal was to increase sales, by providing a great user experience.
The web designers at Visibly used the color scheme in Rolling Buddy’s branding to create a brand new eCommerce website that stand out. One can see the entire project here.
To start off with one can see a mega menu presenting a vast variety of product categories in a neat and organised manner. Moreover, the menu have an image which changes on hover on different categories. This is because many users might not know the product category but are familiar to the product image.
Web Design Features
A dominant search bar is present in the header section. Visibly web developers have implemented a powerful search bar, that provides product suggestions once the user start typing. Besides, an add to cart feature is present directly from the search bar. This is particularly useful, for returning customers that know exactly what they are looking for. Moreover, from the backend Rolling Buddy can evaluate the searches made and get insights on their customer needs. Similarly, to the menu, each product search result has a corresponding thumbnail image to help users select the wanted product easily.
Rolling Buddy eCommerce website is highly dynamic, with a lot of offers and discounts all year round. Therefore, Visibly web designers have designed the homepage with easy to replace banners. Therefore, the client can use these banners for any kind of promotion all year round. Needless to say, Visibly delivered an in-depth training programme to ensure that the client is able to manage the website independently.

eCommerce
The eCommerce shop page shows a product catalogue with easy filters to refine product selection. The user can add products to the cart either through the shop page or from the single product page. The single product page contains a larger image together with a description and the possibility to choose from related items.
A number of upselling features are present in this website. Product bundles features is present to allow customers obtain discounts on purchasing bundles of products together. Moreover, on purchasing a product from this website, one gets loyalty points which provide cash discounts on future purchases. The users can check how many points they have collected from the custom web designed user dashboard designed for Rolling Buddy.
Our web developers have implemented email marketing system that sends exclusive deals and discounts to Rolling Buddy customers. To increase audience a pop-up was designed which appears as soon as the user intends to exit the website.
